New Fabrics.

Erica fashion hopes to team up with a Japanese company that has created an electric blue dress made of synthetic spider silk.
As this is a kind of breathable strong latex and as it due to make nylon treads obsolete as its stronger than silk. The company, named Spiber, have made the garment to demonstrate the different ways that the incredibly strong yet lightweight material can be used. Their artificial fibre based on spider silk is called Qmonos, from the Japanese word 'kumonosu' meaning ‘spider web’. The silk has been used in wound dressings, as it has antibacterial properties. As it looks deceiving cool its strength matches warmth. Despite its fragile appearance spider silk is incredibly strong. The silk is composed of a complex structure of fibrils which, gram for gram, make it stronger than many metals.
Spiders secrete their silk through a special gland called a spinning wart.
The fibre that emerges is water insoluble, partly crystal and coiled. As the fashion house wants comfort of sexy the wearer will be dressed to thrill.
The striking blue dress uses synthesised genes which coax bacteria to produce fibroin, a structural protein found in spider silk. Gram for gram spider silk is five times stronger than steel and it is more flexible than nylon. If the silk was used to make body armour, it would be at least three times stronger than Kevlar, depending on the spider. This silk begins in the spinning gland as a random coil of proteins before it is passed through ducts in precise conditions of acidity, water content and chemical concentration. Completely breathable unlike latex or their subtitles it has a natural feel their no adhesion towards the skin.
Ready to wear these ultra strong almost bullet proof dresses made from synthetic Spider silks.
